Co-operation between Estate Agents is common in the United States and in various other parts of the world, but virtually unknown, for example, on the Continent of Europe. Our co-operation with other agents is on what is generally termed a ‘multi—listing’ basis, that is, when we receive an enquiry, we access those other agents who, from experience, may well have properties of interest. We apply the same high standards to searching for and then offering properties through other agents, on our ‘multi-listing’ basis, as we do with direct properties. We make as certain as possible that the properties fit the prospective tenant's detailed requirements.

There is no charge for this service, it is part of our overall service in providing the best possible selection of properties.

Many of the prospective tenants using our services contact Birch & Co only, because they know we will search on their behalf with all the agents who we know to be relevant to their needs . This saves prospective tenants a great deal of time and frustration because someone new to the London rentals market will not have any idea of what agents are likely to be of help

Our co-operation is across the whole of central London and virtually all suburban/commuting areas. We work with both multi- office companies, for example, Hamptons International, Knight Frank and Chesterton, as well as with the specialised smaller firms, who often do have particularly good quality properties.

Our co-operation also extends to us offering properties on our register to other agents, giving landlords that extra chance of finding a very good quality tenant and obtaining the highest possible rent.
